The engine is the heart of every Porsche. It is the origin of its power, presence and sound, its inimitable character and performance. In the new Cayenne models, we’ve used specially uprated V-type units featuring direct fuel injection (DFI). All three are designed for super unleaded petrol on account of its superior efficiency and power density. Compared with the previous generation, the new Cayenne engines offer significantly higher specific power and torque as well as better fuel economy and emissions.
